Sunrise Tower’s story began in the 1960s, when a group of local developers came together with a vision of creating a stunning, modern building that would offer breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. A prominent and renowned Florida architect, Igor B. Polevitzky, was commissioned. Sunrise Tower is an excellent example of Mid-Century Modern design. The building features “eyebrows” to shade the windows, plus cantilevered balconies blending with pre-cast and river stone exterior textures. The facades offer bold and interesting vertical and horizontal accents. A few years after construction the building was converted from rental apartments to condominiums. Sunrise Tower has retained it unique charm as an historically significant structure.
Over the years, we’ve seen a lot of changes in our neighborhood and in the world at large. We’ve weathered hurricanes, economic downturns, and even a pandemic, but through it all, we’ve remained committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents.
Today, Sunrise Tower is more than just a building – it’s a community. Our residents come from all walks of life, but we share a common bond of mutual respect, support, and friendship. Whether we’re enjoying a walk on the dock and grounds, lounging by the pool, or simply catching up in the lobby, there’s always a sense of warmth and camaraderie that permeates our building.
We’re proud of our history, and we’re excited for the future. We look forward to welcoming new residents to our community and continuing to make Sunrise Tower a place that people are proud to call home.
Thank you for being a part of our story.
